Movies play upside down in WMP. Discussion in 'Multimedia' started by soldier, Jul 21, 2002. I'd only install the DivX codec (which is a little older than the official 5.02) and the Fraunhofer MP3 codec. The Nimo pack I've previously said to use sparingly contains a bicubic resizer install that usually fixes the upside down prob. Lanczos will be sharper than Bicubic (which is sharper than bilinear). The sharper the resizer the more noise will be increased. You also risk oversharpening halos if your source is already very sharp. No, sharpness will only accentuate noise that is already existing, and require more bitrate for a certain level of quality.
