The beginning of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a great place to collect ingredients for potions. So here's a guide on how to take advantage of those early moments and where to find what you need!
Alchemy can be pretty powerful in the game, and there is a huge difference between the simple versions of potions, oils and bombs and the enhanced or superior versions. The superior versions are often much better than the first ones you can craft. Sunshine autos vice city.
My main problem is that I'm still missing many recipies, especially annoying is missing the first one and being unable to craft the enhanced and superior versions due to that. I've been trying to buy all recipies I could find, but I'm certain that I haven't found everyone that sells alchemy recipies.
Who are the merchants that sell alchemy recipies, and where can I find them?

There are many vendors that sell alchemy recipes. Maybe this alchemy guide will help.

I've lost two alchemy recipes so far, both times after the game notifying me that I've received it. First time it was Enhanced White Frost which disappeared after I bought it from the gnome herbalist in Novigrad (or Oxenfurt, can't remember), then it was in the Dijkstra mission when he gave me the antidote recipe. Both times recipes did not show up in Alchemy tab. Restarting the game doesn't work.
Anyone else having the same problem?

Never happenned to me. The only bug I had with bombs/potions was having both Dimeritum bombs and Enhanced Dimeritum bombs in my inventory.Anyone else having the same problem?

There are some bugs with which alchemy recipes get displayed. If you have the base White Frost, try discarding them. That should make both recipes show up, so you can craft them at the same time.
For the other recipe, if you are talking about the part I think you are, there isn't actually a recipe, rather a potion that gets put in one of your quick slots.

I figured you meant that one. But yeah, the workaround ChevyNoel suggested does work; but I'll warn you; the bug rears again when you want to upgrade from Enhanced to Superior, so I've seen.ChevyNoel

Hopefully these issues are among the GUI bug fixes they say they fixed for patch 1.05.

I think there is at least one recipe I miss (intermediate white Raffard, I think), and I have no idea where to look, as I, apparently, scanned all settlements and herbalists all around. I also explored if not all, then vast majority of maps, so I'm not sure it's my fault.
