The following are Level 2 to Level 5 Headquarters Base Layouts that you can use to minimize damage from attackers. These base designs can be used by both sides (Rebels and Empire).
What is unique about Star Wars: Commander is that you get to choose a Hero in each battle. For the Galactic Empire, you can choose between the following Hero units: Veteran AT-ST, AT-MT Mark III, and Elite AT-AT.
The game allows you to command a lot of troops from the Star Wars films by building a Barracks building. Here are the units you can control from Galactic Empire side: Stormtrooper, Phase II Dark Trooper, Scout Trooper, Dewback Trooper, Repair Droid, Heavy Stormtrooper, Sniper Trooper, and Shock Trooper.
With the Factory, you can make Speeder Bike, AT-ST Walker, 2-M Hover Tank, AT-AT, AT-MT, Probe Droid, Mobile HJeavy Cannon.
You also get to command starships to make single strikes on your enemy. There are 4 starships available on Galactic Empire side: TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber, and TIE Advanced.
By Late November 2014, (end of Galactic War: Tournament 1), 7 new units were released for the Galactic Empire side. They were: Royal Guard (hero), TIE Defender and VT-49 Decimator (both starships), MTV-7 (factory vehicle), and three death troopers (Scout Death Trooper, Death Trooper, and Heavy Death Trooper).
