Windows 10 External Dvd Drive

- Sep 02, 2015 My new portable doesn't have an internal drive, so I am using an external drive for access to my CDs. I can see data files, etc., but none of my videos will play. What's going on? We're not allowed to run videos from an external drive? These are homemade videos that ran fine on Win. Which video player are you trying? I shall suggest.
- Jul 09, 2015 So the title of your article is 'How to Play DVDs & Blu-Rays on Windows 10, Even Without a DVD Drive' which specifically implies a way to play discs 'Without a DVD Drive' and then you go onto explain you'll still need a DVD drive and if you don't have an internal one you'll need to buy an external.
Dec 03, 2015 I just purchased a new Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 10 OS. Doesn't come with an installed cd/dvd drive. All I can find are drives compatible with Windows 8 from manufacturers that I recognize. Can you suggest a name brand one that is compatible with Windows 10? Thanks for the help.

Windows 10 Doesn't Recognize External Dvd Drive
For the printer issue, I would recommend you to go to the printer website and download the latest driver and install it compatibility mode. Follow the below steps:
Note: Make sure you download the updated printer driver.
Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.
Select Compatibility tab.
Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
